Hidden Rings & Snaps
• Our competitors attach their rings and snaps to the edge of their top pads. PORTaPiT snaps are sewn under the Top Pad so there is no contact between the athlete and the metal snaps.
• Strong rust resistant snaps and rings hold the top pad and base units snugly together. Athletes feel secure when landing on any PORTaPiT landing system

Standard Colors
• Standard colors for all PORTaPiT landing systems are: Royal Blue, Red, Black, Dark Green, Gold, Yellow, Columbia Blue, Purple, Orange, Maroon, Kelly Green and White

Waffle Contoured Foam System
The keys to this PATENTED system are:
• Single density foam which is less likely to delaminate. The result is a longer life for your PORTaPiT
• Four way air flow which eliminates hard spots in your landing system
• Controlled deceleration, a must for safe and comfortable landings
• Smaller and more numerous baffles provide a greater comfort zone and proper deceleration

Dalron Buckles
• All base units are joined together with heavy duty webbing and no rust Dalron Buckles
• The heavy duty buckle is shock proof, yet easy to release when moving the landing system

Coated Fabric
• 18oz. vinyl coated polyester base fabric (polyester is not affected by heat or cold and nylon is), thus reducing the chance of "saging" unit covers.
• The vinyl is knife-coated to the base fabric which virtually eliminates the possibility of delamination.
• Both sides of the base fabric are coated with a full 11oz. of vinyl on the outside where ALL of the wear occurs.
• Critical seams are welded

PORTaPiT landing surfaces are intended for use only by properly conditioned athletes under strict supervision of a qualified instructor who is thoroughly familiar with the instructions for installation and use of the equipment. All separate sections (base units, top pad and front unit) must be securely buckled together before use of the pit.
